New Year’s Eve Parties for Golfers

It’s that time of the year to look back and reflect on the birdies and bogeys. There were good rounds and days where we felt like we were in a straight jacket. Gather at the clubhouse with your playing partners and ring in the new year — here are some options.

PGA National Resort & Spa; Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

A four-course culinary experience at Ironwood Steak & Seafood.

Seatings at 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, 6:30 and 7 p.m.; $115 per adult and seatings at 7:30, 8:00, 8:30, 9:00 & 9:30 p.m.; $135 per adult.

The multi-course menu includes braised chicken and truffle arancini, celeriac and cauliflower bisque Key West shrimp salpicon, toasted pepitas, chili oil; Dungeness and Chesapeake and Blue Crab Cake jicama citrus slaw, smokey remoulade, strawberry champagne cake and more.

Ring in the New Year with a room for two and two tickets to the Black and White Masquerade Party in the Grand Four Seasons Ballroom. Cocktails get started at 8 p.m., followed by dinner, live music by Road Crew,

The Resort at Pelican Hill; Newport Beach, California
The resort’s Italian option, Andrea presents “Il Cenone,” the Italian Gala, with a five-course menu. Tuesday, December 31 for $250* per adult without wine pairing and $350* per adult with wine pairing. Pricing excludes tax and service charge. And then shift to the Great Room Social Lounge for their “golden state of mind” with live music creative cocktails, small bites and a midnight balloon drop.
