WBGD: What’s in the bag?
Cone: I just recently switched over to almost all Titleist clubs right before Christmas and I apologize for not really knowing the shafts. I’m one of the least technical people out here, but here’s the rundown:

5-PW: Titleist AP2 Project X 7.0
Wedges (52, 56, 60): Titleist SM7 True Temper Dynamic Gold S400
Putter: Nike Origin

Cone misses the cut in Abaco, but is optimistic and ready for week three in Colombia

WBGD: All-time most cherished memory from the golf course?

Cone: My most cherished memory on the golf course is when I got to play the US Amateur in my favorite city, Boston, at The Country Club. It was a week I’ll never forget being able to have my dad on the bag and playing a course with so much history behind it.
WBGD: Highlight(s) of the week?
Cone: I’d have to say there were a few highlights of the week. Two were non-golf related, the first being that the Patriots won the AFC Championship on Sunday and the second was that I stayed on a 38’ catamaran for the first half of the week through Airbnb. Definitely one of the cooler experiences I’ve had while traveling. The final highlight was once again my pro-am group this week, a group from Nassau that included a couple of teenagers, Zion and Ethan, who had just picked golf a few years ago yet already had a knack for it.
WBGD: This is your first time in the Bahamas, thoughts on Abaco? And how did it compare to Exuma?
Cone: I think Abaco is awesome. There seems to be a little more going on around the town of Marsh Harbour compared to last week in Exuma. When comparing the two, I think it just depends what you’re looking for in terms of things to do or just getting off the map and relaxing. I will say that Exuma is more scenic when it comes the water color and transparency.
WBGD: You going to Colombia?
Cone: I am definitely going to Colombia. I wouldn’t miss out on an opportunity to visit Bogotá. I’ve been once before for a PGA Tour Latinoamerica event and it’s easily one of my favorite places that I’ve been lucky enough to travel to. I’m really looking forward to playing the course, too. I’ve heard it’s one of better ones on the schedule.
WBGD: Doughnut Report!
Cone: Sadly, I’ve yet to find any doughnuts in Abaco as well. So the first stop when I get back to Florida on Thursday morning will be Jupiter Donuts. If you’re in or around the West Palm/Jupiter area, you have to go check them out. I wouldn’t say they’re the best I’ve ever had, but they’re top five.
