Like Nike Married Michael Jordan and Jumpman, Ashworth Presents Tom Hoge and Golfman

If LIV Golf was the story of 2022, here’s this year’s leader in the clubhouse.

World No. 30 Tom Hoge has joined Fred Couples on the Ashworth Golf team as part of the Hong Kong-based clothier’s roaring return to the North America market. From head-to-toe, Ashworth’s signature polo, outerwear and pants will be the go-to brand for night league’s and ladies nine-holers all over the USA. Look for Hoge to pick up where he left off last year in Ashworth’s mix of tradition and innovation with ultimate fit, function, style and performance. And for doubters who question that a shirt can impact performance, Hoge’s already knocked out a T-3 at the 2023 at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.

Much like how Nike’s Michael Jordan-fueled Jumpman campaign took the world by storm in the 80’s, Tom Hoge is putting Ashworth’s Golfman on his back and leading the march.

The new line, adorned with the iconic Golfman logo, features a modern-day version of the original cotton polos, combining technical fabrics with natural fibers. The highest quality cotton is blended with just the right level of performance microfiber for enhanced fit and all-day comfort, as well as the proper amount of stretch during the golf swing.

“With the Ashworth brand returning to US market, we felt it was important to have a presence on the PGA Tour,” said Eddie Fadel, President, Ashworth Golf. “Tom Hoge is playing at such a high level, and while he fully appreciates the legacy of the Golfman logo for the 45+ community of golfers, he embraces the opportunity to help showcase the authentic, new look Ashworth brand to a new generation of golfers.”

Perhaps the new Ashworth garb is the boost the 2011 Texas Christian University alumnus needs to crack the top 10 and get win No. 2. The world of golf awaits and only time will tell, but for the wise–bet the farm on this groundbreaking Hoge and Ashworth partnership.
