Topgolf at Doak Campbell Stadium, Home of Florida State Football

Non-Americans are often shocked to learn how insanely popular college football is in the USA. A few college coaches make more than $10 million a year which certainly indicates a high-level of commitment for a student athlete league. Alumni and fans regularly make donations in the millions to Florida State University, University of Oklahoma, University of Southern California and other powerhouse programs. And while the players don’t get paid (for now), college football is a beloved American tradition.

Here’s a chance for college football fans to hit golf balls where their favorite teams play. In April, Doak Campbell Stadium will become a temporary Topgolf venue. Florida State fans can stick wedges where Chief Osceola plants his flaming spear.

Topgolf Live will be at Doak Campbell Stadium, home of the Florida State Seminoles April 23-26. Topgolf Live Doak Campbell Stadium will give sports fans, golfers and non-golfers alike a chance to hit golf balls from the South Endzone seats of Doak Campbell Stadium into colorful targets on the field.

Topgolf Live features Toptracer Range technology that tracks the flight path of the golf balls, instantly scoring every shot in an interactive, in-stadium Topgolf game. Players can compete as they aim for massive targets ranging from 60 to 140 yards away on the field. After dark, the targets will glow and light the field for a special night golf experience.

The four-day festival will include food and beverage options, music for those wanting to keep the fun going before or after their tee time, limited edition Topgolf Live merchandise available for purchase and additional entertainment options for attendees of all ages.

“Topgolf Live is something we have been working hard to bring together, and we can’t wait to see it come to life,” said Jason Dennard, Associate Athletic Director for New Revenue and Marketing. “This event highlights our commitment to bringing exciting opportunities for our fans to our venues. Topgolf is a brand we are excited to not only bring to Doak, but to the entire local Tallahassee community.”

Tee times for Topgolf Live Doak Campbell Stadium are reserved in one-hour increments. Prices start at $40 for player tickets, $30 for students and $110 for Premium tickets. Premium tickets include access to food vouchers, drink tickets, a limited-edition Topgolf Live hat provided by Black Clover, a complimentary Topgolf lifetime membership and a $10 Game Play voucher, redeemable at any U.S. Topgolf location, excluding Topgolf Las Vegas.
