There are so many reasons to choose Mexico for golf — golf aside, is there a better place in the world for food and drink? The Cancun International Airport is the most active airport in the Caribbean and it’s not even close (No. 2 is San Juan, Puerto Rico), but busy airports mean more direct flights from an airport near you and it typically means better deals.
Here’s a quick look at a recent trip to the Riviera Maya which is the stretch of Caribbean coastline on Mexico’s northeastern Yucatán Peninsula — there are all types of hotels and resorts — large chains, independently owned boutiques and all-inclusive properties.
