Cobra Doesn’t Make Balls — What Did Rickie Fowler Win With in Phoenix?

We’ve seen several wins lately from non-Titleist touring professionals. Bryson DeChambeau, Tiger and Matt Kuchar have represented Bridgestone Golf well.

TaylorMade ambassadors Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler both won on Sunday — Johnson on the European Tour and Fowler in Phoenix on the PGA Tour.

This was Fowler’s second week playing the TaylorMade TP5x competitively after more than a decade with the  the Titleist Pro V1.

It works for Rickie

“I think the golf ball is the biggest switch you can make in the bag…if it didn’t work for me, I wasn’t going to settle for anything else,” says Fowler on his switch to TaylorMade Tp5x.

TaylorMade introduced the 2019 TP5 and TP5x golf balls earlier this month. With Fowler, six of the top 12 players in the Official World Golf Rankings have now put either the ‘19 TP5 or TP5x in play.

The all new TP5 & TP5x golf balls will hit retail shelves around the world on February 15.
