Katie Kearney at the PGA: Predictions

If Shakespeare were to script a Sunday leaderboard for drama — it would look like the one we have. All the stars are in contention. Today will be a fight that rivals WrestleMania III when Hulk Hogan body slammed Andre the Giant.

Two-time back-to-back U.S. Open champion Books Koepka has a two-shot lead — he’s at 12 under. He’s going for his third major in his last seven major appearances. And if the Florida State Seminole gets a win today — out of his four wins on the PGA Tour, three would be majors. Katie Kearney spoke with Brooks Koepka on Tuesday, perhaps a good luck charm?

Win one for Jarrod Lyle, Scott goes for his second major today in St. Louis

In the last group with Koepka is Australian Adam Scott — he’s two back at 10 under. Scott goes for an emotional win in honor of fellow Aussie Jarrod Lyle. Lyle passed earlier this week after a long battle with cancer at the age 36.

Rickie Fowler and Jon Rahm are just three shots back — both are going for their first major.

And four shots back is the “Big Cat.” Tiger Woods is in the hunt along with Justin Thomas, Jason Day (another Aussie) and Stewart Cink. Still crushed that Cink beat Tom Watson in the 2009 Open Championship, but I digress.

Who wins today? Here are predictions from WBGD headquarters.
