You are here because you love to play exciting new golf courses, and if you know your history of the Americas, you will particularly want to target this Conrad property. Here there is the marriage of one of South America’s/Caribbean’s best new golf courses and the Western Hemisphere’s most strategic and storied cities. I am referring to Cartagena, Colombia and the TPC Cartagena at Karibana golf course. Now this is a private golf course in the PGA TOUR’s TPC network so unless you are already a member of that, your best hope of playing this Nicklaus design is to stay next door at the Conrad Cartagena. How convenient!
The Conrad Cartagena affords guests the opportunity to ride a courtesy golf cart shuttle about a minute away or to walk just over one hundred yards to this first-rate facility. I did. You should too!
Here are a series of pictures I took of this 5-Star hotel facility. Some are obviously “doctored up” for artistic purposes, but you’ll get the idea of what a nice place it is to visit, explore history, sample the cuisine, and just plain get recycled. And then there is the great golf waiting.
