New in Chicago Area: Domed and Indoor “Transformative Golf Entertainment Technology”

The “driving range-sports bar, craft beers and tasty food” concept is now indoors. Golfers can stay warm, catch a buzz and get flight path, ball speed, launch angle and height information.

“We are extremely excited to bring the Toptracer technology to the Mistwood Golf Dome transforming our indoor dome driving range experience to a fun and virtual environment that will precisely track players shots as if they were outside on interactive screens and provide fun gaming applications for both golfers and non-golfers,” said Dan Bradley, Mistwood general manager. “This is the first of its kind in Chicago as well as the country for an indoor dome and we look forward to bringing this innovation and fun entertainment experience for the next generation of golfers as well as attract new players to the game.”

The ever-evolving driving range goes indoors

The Mistwood Golf Dome opened under its new name this past week to rave reviews with Toptracer Range. The dome has been under the umbrella of Mistwood Golf Club and owner Jim McWethy since 2012, who has created one of the premier golf and entertainment experiences in Chicago with both facilities.

The 60,000 square-foot facility has been transformed into an innovative and dynamic golf range center where golfers and non-golfers alike will improve and enjoy games utilizing the Toptracer Range technology.

Toptracer Range is revolutionizing the driving range experience, and at the Mistwood Golf Dome it will be part of the scene that also includes casual lounge seating, TVs, and premier food and beverage service via the attached McWethy’s Sports Bar.
