Pro Bowl Pittsburgh Steeler JuJu Smith-Schuster and Miami’s DJ Irie will host the Laces Out Charity Golf Classic on Thursday January 30th, 2020 at Miami Beach Golf Club. The event will kick off Super Bowl LIV weekend and benefit the JuJu Foundation, Irie Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami. The event is produced and presented by Big Game Events and Irie Foundation.
“When we were planning our celebrity golf charity classic, we knew we had to have it in the only place to be in Miami during Super Bowl and that’s Miami Beach. Having a Miami staple like DJ Irie on board as a partner only makes it that much more impactful with his reach and following,” said Frank Catrambone, Co-Executive Producer.
The Laces Out Charity Golf Classic starts Thursday morning, January 30th at Miami Beach Golf Club. Expected participants include but are not limited to Omari Hardwick, Lawrence Taylor, Ja Rule, Matt Forte, Ted Ginn, Jr., Ty Nsekhe, Andre Johnson, Nolan Carroll, Andre Reid, Byron Chamberlain, Terrell Davis, Alex Katz, Ryan Lewis, along with JuJu Smith-Schuster and DJ Irie. More celebrity names TBA.
The event is by invitation only. Two champions will leave with a Laces Out Championship Cup: best individual gross and best net. The event is sponsored by: Points Bet, Tito’s Vodka, Reign Total Body Fuel, Holr Media, and Unity Jets.
