About 350 people are members at Haig Point on Daufuskie Island, South Carolina. They play golf on the Rees Jones golf course, play tennis, walk on the beach, ride horses and enjoy cocktails at the Beach Club. Only way over is by boat on a water taxi or ferry or by helicopter. There isn’t bridge and certainly not an aircraft runway.
