Amateur Tournament: 2018 Centara World Masters, June 10-16; Hua Hin, Thailand

In just four years the Centara World Masters has become Asia’s biggest and most enjoyed tournament for everyday club golfers. With testimonials like “the best week of my life” the event is sure to be a sellout again in 2018. For one week in June, golfers from more than 25 nationalities converge on Thailand’s royal city of Hua Hin for a week of golf, entertainment and great fun.

Quality golf courses, headlined by Black Mountain and Banyan, have seen Hua Hin voted Asia’s Best Golf Destination at the World Golf Awards. A new pipeline is providing guaranteed water supply to the region and all of the courses are looking postcard perfect. The Jack Nicklaus signature Royal Springfield and Imperial Lake View join Black Mountain and Banyan to host this year’s Championship. Playing in carts, players are spoiled by well-trained, ever-smiling and attentive caddies. The caddies proudly wear a bib sporting the player’s name and country flag – just like at the Masters.
