Left Handed Golfer Playing Right Handed: Best Switch Hitting Golfers

Switch-hitting is common in baseball – rare in golf. A teammate of Tiger Woods at Stanford and NBC analyst Notah Begay was a switch putter. He hit right-to-left breaking putts right-handed and he hit left-to-right breakers left-handed. More common are left handed golfer playing right handed.

Why?

It’s a simple answer, more right-handed golf clubs are made. Perhaps there’s also an advantage. Case in point is right-handed Phil Mickelson, who plays left-handed. Perhaps “Leftie” gets more distance from his strong right side.
